Along with Infinity Kappa speakers and a 400 watt Clarion amp, I am absolutely blown away by the total sound. The Basslink installed in a minimum of space and sounds much bigger than it's size. It give a deep, rich sound without distortion at levels much higher than I would normally use. It is highly adjustable with controls for gain, crossover and volume. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone who wants the best. 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful: Basslink II my new pet, By john feichtel "SpeWWWy" (Pennsylvania) - See all my reviews This review is from: Infinity Reference Basslink II 250-Watt Dual 10-Inch Powered Subwoofer System (Black) (Electronics) I recently purchased a Basslink II to add a little thump to my current system. I didn't want it to be heard thumping blocks away, but something to spice up my Kenwood CD deck in my Elantra. Well, the unit does what it says and beat my expectations, for such a small unit. I was planning on installing it my self like I did with my speakers, but balked at cutting into my battery terminals and going through my firewall to run the power connections. I went to BestBuy who installed it for me for about $100, which was well worth my time and effort. When I first heard it started up in the garage bay, I looked at my brother and we smiled and looked at each other in amazement! This sucker rocks even when mounted in my trunk! This will not part your hair in the back of your head but does a fantastic job. I would have rated it 5 stars had it parted my hair! Still I am satisfied and my ears thank me! 18 of 25 people found the following review helpful: RUN don't walk way from this subwoofer. Do Not Purchase!, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Infinity Reference Basslink II 250-Watt Dual 10-Inch Powered Subwoofer System (Black) (Electronics) Recently purchased a Cadillac RSX which had a premium Bose system installed. However, anyone that knows audio knows how much of an overpriced, underperformed speaker line like Bose is. Sure enough, the experience of listening to music in my vehicle was nothing short of bland. I sought to purchase a subwoofer. Needed something with a small footprint since I didn't have a lot of cargo space in my crossover vehicle. The Infinity Basslink and Basslink II were recommended to me by my trusted local installer. I spent hours upon hours scouring the Internet and reading every review out there about this subwoofer. I should have listened to the reviews. I should have listened. The failure rate on the Basslink models are pretty high. Go ahead and read reviews on Amazon and Crutchfield. Put BASSLINK into Google and read the reviews on the various car forums. People are... Read more |
